Celebrated Henrick's birthday with g6 and guys!

Watched Clash of the Titans! The visuals were not bad.. Least the Gods look much more 'godly' than the ones in Percy Jackson.. Good that i watched the 2D version because from what i heard, 3D spoils the movie.. i liked the plot :) My main concern was that the actors' 'skirt' were too short for comfort.. Bit distracting >.<

We headed off to to Soup Restaurant afterwards.. Awesome food!! Had loads of fun that day.. Oh what's new? It's always fun and laughter with this bunch of homies :)

I haven't been able to smile or speak properly these these few days because of the darn freaking ulcer I got from biting the same spot twice. It rubs against my teeth whenever i move a muscle in the lower half of my face..
I feel like telling people whom I've met these past few days.. that I'm not unfriendly.. I wanna talk to you, but ulcer disallows me.. that I'm not giving you a fake smile, I'm suffering..

Few weeks back, I was walking along CityLink with GORY when a huge poster outside HMV caught our eyes.

Made a last minute decision to go after contemplating for days cause the concert's on 27th Feb, one day before my ME paper.

3 movies watched!!

1. The Princess and The Frog!!!
was squealing when the movie started GAWWD I LOVE DISNEY!!!!
didnt really like the ending though.. how can a good guy die!?!!

My idea of a disney happily ever after ending: Ray should never never never die! He should come to realize that Evangeline really IS just a star. Louis and Ray should both transform into human.. Set ends in a ballroom, with Princess and the Prince dancing Waltz, and Ray going head over heels for this girl.. Ray then asked for the name, which turns out to be (like duh~), Evangeline. =) There. THIS is what I call Happily Ever After. =)

2. Zombieland.
Left4dead came to life. Low expectations --> Not bad movie =) pretty amusing. =)

3. Avatar.
Everyone's rating this 5-stars and exclaiming how awesome this movie is, so if there a scale of 1 to 10 for expectations, mine was 10.5. and IT IS GOOD!! LOVE the graphics! and i ADORE the whole concept and everything. James Cameron is hell of a producer/inventor. HE'S BRILLIANT!!!!

I cant wait for Alice in Wonderland to be in theatres!! EGGCITE!!

Venue for me and cy's 21st birthday ~~party~~ gathering. CHECKED.
YES i'm soooo happy!! gonna hold it at Capella's Villa! now i've to start worrying bout food.. Outside food isnt allowed but the food there are priced to kill. hmmm.
and i cant invite many people so its gonna be just a small celebration =(

i had the weirdest dreams these past 2 nights..
1 night i dreamt of myself living in a pink house and all my stuff had hello kitty prints on them.. hmm.. i dont even like kitties??

next was a really gory dream.
gory as in REAL GORE GORY..
i was with a long haired friend (i don't remember who) in the dream..
while walking towards a lobby staircase this lady flew up to us and sawed my head and limps off with a chain saw..
and i thought i felt myself fall and warm blood gushing all over my body..
but machiam some super hero, my body parts began moving towards each other and they glued themselves back in place, and i was alive again.
i turned and found my friend lying face down next to me
the lady was squatting at her side and looking at her legs..
she then chopped my friend's foot off and started scrutinizing it..
that's when i woke up..

as if this wasn't spooky enough, i actually knew the lady was gonna chop off my friend's foot.. it was like i was having deja vu in my dream.. in the dream, i found the scene familiar and wanted to stop the evil lady but was too late.. hmmm

just wanna record all these down for memory's sake..

explored the mall with ory (while waiting for a particular tai-tai) today and it totally made my night!
Love the escalator leading to their rooftop!
great design and lights made ripple-like patterns on the escalator.

caught 2 movies last week. and both are ROCKING AWWWWWESOME!!!!

sad. sad. sad. sad. sad. perfect example of soap

no wonder i insisted on watching this on big screen even though its already available in stores and on stream. this movie is brilliant in every way possible! from the picture to the voice to the graphics to the plot. EVERYTHING. it's so weird and eerie and spooky that i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE it!!

i missed Halloween this year. didn't get to celebrate at all. there're so many parties everywhere but i didn't attend any. WEAH. =((( if only you called earlier!

my hair stylist snipped it off while i was engrossed with the mag in my hands.
and i told him specifically that i want to 'keep the length'
oh wells...

was working ytd; to teach active senior citizens how you play Wii.
it was FUN!
it kinda gave me a sense of self satisfaction, seeing them smile and lol..
especially after Sat's incident.
i was late for class and walking hastily towards the MRT station.
on my way there this old man carrying a huge red plastic bag full of packets of tissue held out a bundle of 3 packets and was looking right into my eyes wearily, beckoning me to purchase them.
but i was walking too fast that the only thing i did was 'sorry!' and rushed off..
i felt sooooo bad the next second. the image of him looking into my eyes was still hovering in my head on the train all the way to school..
so working with them made me feel less guilty :D
at work, i had to scream 6 hours straight cuz of the speakers blasting right at us. and now i talk like some tranny trying to speak like a woman, voice keeps going off key..
beer and Tteokbokki(Korean Rice Cake suki made) made it so much worse XD

My third day of school.
And I'm having eye bags similar to the ones i had during exam period.
Sleep deprived but having trouble zonking out due to months of nocturnal lifestyle. >.<
Not complaining though. Cause being nocturnal rock =)
We sleep away the warm stuffy humid day, and get active at sunDown when the weather's all cool and nice ;))

Watch Phobia 2 today.
5 stories, and i find 3 of them ended rather stupidly.
That means 2/5, a FAIL.
But still, it's watchable larh. For 6 bucks.
The plots are pretty new, though I still can't find any logic in the 3rd story - Backpackers a.k.a Resident Evil de parody.
Plots aside, I thought the directors did an awesome job with the shooting!
And the funny parts were real funny.
I don't think I've ever laughed that much to a horror movie before.
Was really Laughing.My.Ass.Off to the last story. XD

inspired by Dead and Gone =)and i can't believe blogger's working..
like FINALLY.
but i've forgotten almost all the stuff i wanted to blog about -.-

Nyways, i had a really nice dream few days ago..
Yup i mean days. Not nights. I'm nocturnal =)
The front and end are irrelevant and stupid.. i was gonna attend NDP with my family on a bus that skids.
Somehow i ended up on a meadow,
The meadow was a healthy green.. the wind blowing gently against the grass so that they swayed the same direction..
The sky was blue, with small heaps of cumulus clouds scattered all over the sky...
The beautiful thing is, the meadow was reflected in the sky like a painted veil, semi concealing a block of the sky,
While the clouds were reflected on the meadow, making it look like a cotton candy field with patches of fluffy cotton in place of flowers..
and i was hand in hand with my mum..

That image was stamped in my head and was the first thing i thought of when i woke up.
and it took me a few seconds of semi-consciousness to realize that that was't reality and meadows dont even exist in my country.
So my mood was ---> :D then !! then -.- then =((
yea..
i hope i'll never forget that dream! =))

Watched THE Final Destination. and 9!
FD4 wasn't half as bad as what i heard from others..
But I didnt get to watch it 3D. MAJOR SADNESS =((((
Delayed watching it because i was saving myself for the 3D version., that i never get to watch.
Was totally picturing how it'll look like on 3D throughout the movie.. oh man!
and Tim Burton's films never fail to amaze me.
No wonder he's my fave producer/director :DD
Anyway, i LOVE gory movies!
It's a N-O NO, period. to horrors (except maybe Phobia 2 cause i watched part 1 and thus should watch Part 2) but GORE ROCKS!!!

I've been stirring on my bed for more than an hour and I need my sleep.
But my eyes are wide open.
Other than my exhausted brain, the rest of my body is still hyper and very much alive.

Tues was exhausting..
Was called down school for a 30 mins career coaching..

He threw few paths of light in front of me..
Enlightened.. Loads of thinking to do.

After that, was the secret planning/execution of hyung's mini birthday celebration/surprise.
Had to - shop for prezzies, get balloons, get people(those onz enough to drop by), get cake..
Stuff that need days to carry out.. to be done in 5 hours cause of the late notice =)

and i think the producers sidetracked quite a bit from the main plot..
too much emphasis on lovey dovey stuff, neglecting significance of the horcruxes, build-up of Snape's betrayal etc..

despite all these, i actually find the movie pretty good =)
maybe cause everyone's telling me to have zero expectations..
and i figured that i'm asking too much out of a movie?
after all, books are always better at depicting thoughts and emotions..
movie impairs imagination.
like how Twilight totally limits how i picture the Cullens to look like..

Snape's hair is layered and styled and not as greasy looking. better shampoo?

it was almost 3am. After completing my ESAP essay on Goffman's dramaturgical approach, i stacked my books in 1 corner, cleared the table, took my cup n walked towards the kitchen.

And then i smelt a familiar stench. The past few months of mugging overnight at downtown east and using their toilet at wee hours wasnt wasted. Through those, my nose has become very alert to cockroach's stench.

Armed with morphine, i traced where the stench came from and aimed my morphine at the exact spot where i thought it'd appear. and ALA! there it was, stupidly crawling out from its safe zone to get a good look of what was going on outside. HAHA DUMB ROACH.

i sprayed my morphine like there's no tmr as it scrambled across the kitchen floor. i reached out my other hand but TMD smelly egg cake. Realised i wasntarmed with the swap. DANG IT. Stared as the roach scrambled out of my sight.
Shit morphine. roaches are totally immune to u.

3rd time roach encounter at my place. killed it 2 times, fled the 3rd time. stupid cockroach ruined my track record -..-

here goes the summarized long story...
1 day, my phone, v9, decided to end his life by plunging into a toilet bowl of water. i swear there's only clear water inside.
he failed to kill himself, but ended up a vegetable. keypad totally unreceptive.
wanting to save a bit of $$ (T.T), i asked hyung along to pei me send v9 for repair in some random shop.
this shop, owned by a couple, who looked kind.
as the prices other shops quoted were too high (might as well buy new phone), they offered to help me investigate the source of problem, then quote me a price before i decide whether to have him repaired.
the owner said he needed at least 1 week as the process is complicated.
2 weeks later..
still no call.
went there to check but the shop was closed.
another 2 weeks passed..
went there.
different shop, different owner, different signboard.
GREAT.

they ran with my phone.
F**KING MORONS.
they shall be roasted and fed to stray rats.
they gonna see me with bloody face chasing after them for v9 every night when they go to bed.
they shall have sleepless nights.
even on their deathbeds, they'll feel remorse for cheating me.

Watched this ytd...

dun really rmb wad the movie was about though i juz watched it yesterday, but the later part of the movie has quite a big impact on me. the old grannie's acting was superb! would have made it to hollywoods if she was 50 years younger! naaa i was exaggerating.

School was all along quite copable for me.
I dun dread going for lessons cuz somehow, GORY can always find ways to occupy ourselves, even if tt means missing out parts of the lecture
(hey it's better than falling asleep cuz u'll still catch a sentence or 2!)

Our favourite past times ranges from each of us drawing an image tt we see in the lecture hall n the rest of us guessing what the person is drawing, to making a wardrobe out of koko crunch box n staple bullets.

1st n 2nd July was UOL Freshman Orientation.
got to see some juniors
we set up a booth to recruit some new members
it was all very last min preparation cuz we onli knew bout this orientation 1 week ago
n oso, there would be a student week soon.. we gonna have a big BANG tt week! i hope xDBowl, bowl, bowl your ball, firmly down the lane~~

juz received a msg from chunghang saying his goodbye. he's leaving sg for good. though we're not tt close, i feel sad.. he always brought laughter to our class, no one could resist XD

anyway, i made jjajangmyeon for my parents today!! i woke up earlier than usual to prepare it. walked 3 supermarkets to n fro b4 i get all the stuff needed. quite an experience. 1st time, with a basket in my arm, looking at the vegetables.. had quite a hard time choosing.. i felt so lost!!
after roughly an hr, i got home n started cooking..
took out a pan n started preheating it. there were some particles but i din think much n just rinse it all was well, minus the oil sizzling n pork exploding n flying out of pan as it was wet when i put it into boiling oil.
after an hr plus, the sauce was done, i was sweating lik mad but hey! it;s all worth it! it taste not bad!

mom n dad just nice came home.
mom ran into kitchen, ' which pan are u using?!!' *stares at the pot
mom:' this pan has already rusted!! u used it to cook?!'
me *nods
mom: ' it's poisonous! i haven been using this pan for more than a yr already!'
me ...

oh man.. there were tears in my eyes as i was clearing up the stuff..
1 whole pot of effort - inedible
dad n mom tasted a bit cuz they feel sad for me.
i ate quite a lot b4 they got home T.T
was so happy with the outcome 的说

dad n mom brought me to safra for some runs of jackpot (to cheer me up?)

buffeted at suki sushi with GORY today...

GORY is obsessed with mahjong.
but we good people dont gamble
n so the 2 person with the least chips owe the other parties a DARE

n so hyung happened to accumulate 3 dares for herself
the thoughtful ORY decided to make her do just 1 huge dare instead of 3 easy dares..

we decided that we find a well-urbanized location that has a fountain(eg. Bugis)
then hyung, alone, has to play with the water n sprinkle it into the air princessily, with a wide smile n sparkling eyes(like how princesses do it in cartoons)
and den spin and hop around the fountain gleefully

but today, sheena suddenly 灵机一动ed in the toilet, and thought of another dare for her.
after the buffet n paying for the meal, she have to put the receipt into her mouth('eat it') right in front of the cashier.

n so we proceeded to carry it out.
hyung paid, cashier handed the receipt to her, but oh no! he turned away!

we've always been sheltered from the outside world by our parents when young
but as i grow older, n stepped out of the incubator,
i realised that the world is totally different from wad i thot it was
it is full of hypocrisy, deception, materialism
a.k.a the real world
its hard to decipher wad's going through people's minds and their motives

wad if i become someone like this?
does that mean fitting in the real world and being 'normal'?
